   General Information

Box drills are designed for the grower needing a tool to seed/fertilize but who typically seeds fewer acres than an air seeding operator. These drills typically utilize a volumetric metering system allowing a grower to seed in pounds/acre.

Box Drills come in two types:
  • Integral - coupled to the tractor's 3-point hitch or draft links for more maneuverability
  • Drawn - coupled to the tractor with a drawbar hitch
Openers are designed for the grain grower who seeds in a variety of conditions from conventional to conservation tillage.

The key to this versatility is:

   General Information

The drawn planter with CCS (Central Commodity System) is our bulk-fill planter. This model configuration utilizes two 35-bushel bulk tanks for 70 bushels of total seed capacity. Increased seed-carrying capacities equal greater planter productivity.

Growers planting Bt corn requiring a refuge or seed-corn growers wanting to plant male and female seed at the same time will benefit from the Refuge Plus option available on CCS Planters. Refuge Plus adds a third tank to the CCS system, allowing the refuge corn or the male seed corn to be separate from the other seed. Planting productivity is greatly increased by reduced fill times and seed changes.

   General Information

The DB Series line of planters are front-folding, large-frame planters that offer the greatest field productivity in the industry. These large planters utilize three or five-section frames that flex to match ground contour but also fold to a very manageable transport width. DB planters are offered in a variety of frame sizes and row spacing options. These planters range from 44 to 90-ft. in planting width. Row spacings of 20-, 22-, and 30-in. are available.
